St. Maarten Sails & Canvas NV is the islands longest established sail and canvas loft. Opened in 1988, St. Maarten Sails and Canvas’ production facilities are extensive and professionally staffed. Our purposely designed, 2500 square ft loft caters to the most demanding tasks whether it be sail repairs or commercial and residential awnings. Conveniently located in Cole Bay, across from Island Water World, easy access has deemed one of the many advantageous selling points none the least, our ability to provide the highest quality craftsmanship with the best fabric for each product that satisfies each of our customers. Our combined blend of expert sewing, understanding of customer’s demands and realistic prices results in our customers return business.

Member of the St. Maarten Sails and Canvas family since 1998, her feminine eye for detail has earned her high regard in the art of canvas making, especially her unflawed catamaran trampolines.

Bently Green

Member of the St. Maarten Sails and Canvas family since 1998, Bently specializes in Dodgers and Interior Upholstery however no task too difficult, as his talents are as diverse as our product portfolio.

Thomas Faudoas

Member of the St. Maarten Sails and Canvas family since 1993, Canvas repair is his area of expertise and services our Charter clients. When not busy making those customers happy he fabricates most of our business and residential awnings.

Jacquelin Pierre aka "Pierre"

Member of the St. Maarten Sails family since 1989, Pierre's skills are as diverse as our product and service portfolio. His technique & know how of working with canvas is an appreciated talent whether it the custom covers, complete sets of boat cushions, or jeep tops he is making

Rob van Zeilen

Translated from Dutch, this gentleman’s name describes him best, Rob of Sailing, whom was shared with Molenaar Zeilmakerij from Holland. His extensive array of experience ranges from Windsurf Sails to Mega Yacht Sails.

Gwen Spronk

Our part time office assistant, Gwen is an integral part of our day to day business. She ensures that our out of office errands are efficiently and effectively completed whether this be our banking or her daily run to Oyster Pond visiting our Charter clients. She is the final link that makes our family complete.
